It was a very sad and shocking moment  in the second eviction night at Glo X Factor as identical twins, Clinton and Blair Roberts, known as DNA, one of the favourite acts in the show, got evicted.
The handsome duo thus became the second act to leave the X Factor show after the SmoothBoiz who were the first to be evicted.
They had been nominated for eviction alongside Eshum after the representative of Alexander Forbes handed over a black envelope containing the result of the previous week’s votes to Toolz, the show presenter.
The exit of DNA was also not without drama. The crowd at the recording studio was stunned when Toolz announced that DNA and Ghanaian sensational singer, Eshum, were acts that made the bottom two. The two acts had all along done very well in the competition and not many expected them to be in the bottom two.
The 17-year-old twins lost out to Eshum, who has two of the judges - OnyekaOnwenu and M.I - to thank for saving and keeping her in the show. DNA could only find favour with Ghanaian music star, Reggie Rockstone, who picked them.
Thus ended the dream of the twins of winning the competition’s unprecedented N24 million prize money and Sony Music International’s recording deal.   But for the lovely duo, though disappointed by the eviction, in a sportsmanly manner, they assured that the best is yet to come from them. “This is not the end for us as we are going to use this platform to build on our musical dream. People should look out for us in the near future. We were disappointed that we have been evicted, but we believe everything happens for a purpose. We believe that God who brought us this far has a plan for us. For us anything is possible now,” Clinton, said.
