No Big Deal Having Kids With My Dancer - Femi Kuti

Son of afro beat legend, Femi Kuti, is indeed a proud son of his father. He did not just take after his father in music being a self taught saxophone player, the KORA Award-winning musician is also passionate about his father’s religion and philosophy, and his choice of women.
When e-train took him on the report that he put his dancers in the family way, Femi said that it wasn’t a big deal impregnating his dancers just like other entertainers.
“There is no big deal having kids from my dancers. My dancers are beautiful. If Michael Jackson impregnated his dancers, it would not have been a big deal. Even my father who married 27 wives same day, it was not a big deal to me though I was just growing up then. It may be to you but to me, it isn’t because I don’t believe in marriage and I’m not asking you to believe in what I believe in. I believe in peace and non-violence and urge people to press their demand in a peaceful manner,” he responded.
Femi Kuti, who releases an album every two years, urged upcoming musicians to pick an instrument and be ready to adapt to changes in music globally.
